Portraits : Next Steps

My Aunt Amy and new friend Melanie work as speaking coaches, running Next Step Speaker Services like the girl bosses that they are. When they approached me looking for new headshots with a clean downtown vibe, I jumped at the chance to shoot in the center of things in Raleigh. These ladies were lovely to spend the afternoon with, and were just as excited about the locations in and around the State Legislature as I was (it pays to make friends with security guards, people). Their friendship and fantastic working dynamic really showed itself as we walked and shot through town - I was sad to see our time together end!
